Monthly Mindset: The Effects of Positive Thinking

This month is a shout out to author and habits guru James Clear. He wrote an article last year titled The Science of Positive Thinking: How Positive Thoughts Build Your Skills, Boost Your Health, and Improve Your Work that I wanted to share with all of you.

This article adds context to last months discussion on “stretching” ourselves by discussing how positive thinking can not only help us reach our goals, but improve our lives in all aspects. 


In the article, James breaks down how the negative thought process effects our minds, what the positive thinking process does for our skill sets, and how to increase our abilities to continually think more positive.
