Take Pride Tuesday: The Keys to Achieving Your Goal

Do the holidays have you feeling sluggish, out of whack and disoriented? Personally, I know I was overwhelmed this holiday season; traveling from house to house spending time with everyone. At one point, I visited 10 different family members over 4 days and felt like I spent the holidays in my car like some sort of an Uber drive with no time to stick to my workout regimen. Now, I feel like I am paying for it. 

Having a New Year’s resolution is a great start to getting back into the swing of things, but when will you take action? How will you be better than you were in 2016? Without a vision of where you are going and a plan to get you there it's very easy to get lost. The goal is to work out a minimum of 12 times per month in front of a trainers watching you to ensure your technique and form is where it needs to be. The trainers eye and a program tailored to your needs will ensure success. You just need to meet your end of the deal and be present.

Now is the time to take action to get ready for those Spring breaks and Summer vacations.  Starting this week, I am holding myself accountable. My goal is to work out at least 3 times per week and step up my nutritional habits to learn the correlation of strength and nutrition to continue to push myself to do better and put myself in a position of success. Twelve sessions and a balanced nutrition program is the sweet spot for fitness success.
